The University of Leicester has been ranked joint first for teaching quality and student satisfaction for the second successive year amongst mainstream English universities.
The National Student Survey, which is the cornerstone of the UK 's independent quality assurance framework and is designed to inform prospective students about what and where to study, published its latest results in August 2006.
