The Royal Agricultural College was founded in 1842 and granted its Royal Charter by Queen Victoria in 1845. As the first agricultural college in the English speaking world it has had a major influence on all aspects of the development of agriculture and related subjects in the UK and overseas. Its serves all of the land, food and property related industries through its three schools of study; agriculture, business and rural economy & land management.
